Vision & Direction
Originated and led the product, framing the problem, the concept, and the goal the team built toward.
/ In progress, Product (Idea → MVP)
A "reserve before the rush" booking app for Ghana's trotros. Reserve a seat in advance and board at an approved pickup point, instead of scrambling for a shared minibus at peak hour. A team project I lead on research & product and build the mobile front-end for, in progress, with a working demo.
At peak hours, commuters crowd and scramble for the same shared minibuses: uncertain, unsafe, and time-wasting. There's no way to hold a seat in advance.
Emofa lets riders reserve a seat before the rush, confirm with a QR code, and board calmly at an approved pickup point, turning a daily scramble into a booking.
Originated and led the product, framing the problem, the concept, and the goal the team built toward.
Studied how commuters use trotros and translated their needs into the features the MVP had to deliver.
Defined the minimum that delivers real value (reserve, confirm with QR, approved pickup) and cut the rest.
Shaped the interface, user journey and brand look alongside leading the research and product.
Build the mobile front-end myself; a developer handles the back-end. I own the direction, requirements and the demo.
Ran functional testing and presented the product in a recorded demonstration.
As I move deeper into cybersecurity, I look at products like this through a security lens too, personal & location data, authentication, secure payment handling if added, data retention, and clear privacy notices. Security-by-design, not an afterthought.
Emofa is still evolving. If you'd like to collaborate, or take an idea from problem to product together, let's talk.
